PAL is a program of the Tools for Families Division and is the ONLY Jewish Big Brother Big Sister Program in Atlanta. PAL matches siblings of children with disabilities and children from single-parent households, ages 5-17. The program helps to support the family unit by offering one-on-one mentoring relationships for children who could use some extra support and time with a trusted adult. PAL provides activities that are fun, diverse and low-cost or free, which allows Little PALs the opportunity to try and learn new things with their Big PALs. Big PALs are caring Jewish adults over the age of 21 who volunteer their time (bi-weekly visits) to befriend a child in need of their own special person.
