Best Buddies® is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Locally, there are Best Buddies chapters at Emory University and Georgia Tech. Each month of the school year, the chapters separately host events where all members of the program meet together. Past events include karaoke, soccer, tye-dying, a Braves game, dances, basketball, potlucks, and more.
