It only takes one person to make a difference.

Power of One art

The Power of One was created to honor those who have made an impact in their organization in the area of inclusion. When working to change the way society views and engages with people with disabilities, it’s important to realize that one person can make a huge difference. This could be a program participant or lay leader who may not always get recognized for his/her efforts. We are honored to host this event and recognize those who make efforts to transform Jewish life in Atlanta into an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and the uniqueness of all its members. Together, one by one, we can make a difference.

In addition to recognizing all of this year's honorees, the Robyn Berger Emerging Leader Award, honoring a rising leader in the community, was presented to Sarah Scheuer, Inclusion Director of MJCCA Day Camps. Mazel Tov!
